Using time-tested methods of stone masonry, our high attention to detail ensures outstanding results.

Most types of stone are not ideally suited to years of outdoor exposure. Weathering of stone statues and fountains is unavoidable and can be severe in some locations.

Some long term damage will seem minor at first, but over time can accumulate and become more noticeable. Dust particles support fungal growth on porous stone surfaces.

Once they take hold, the roots of this growth can create damage that may be irreversible. Heat and cold cycles will have an impact on almost all types of stone.

Minor cracking can expand over time, which allows more dust and particles to penetrate your stone statue or fountain, thus perpetuating the cycle.

We will undertake to analyse the type of damage and provide with a proposal on the remediation required for your restoration work.

This work can be completed onsite or in some circumstances we will complete the work in our Melbourne studio.
